Final performance evaluation

Today we performed our piece in the assessment. Overall, I think the assessment went well. I really made sure to think about my facial expressions as this has been a target of mine all throughout the choreography process. I made my movements big so that they really came across on camera. I am so proud of my group as we have made a lot of progress. For example, we were worried we would not finish the piece by the assessment however, we began to make a plan before each lesson in order to use time effectively. Since then we made a lot of progress which I am incredibly pleased with how the performance today.

Before the performance I was extremely nervous. We were the last group to go, therefore there was a lot of waiting for us which made it more nerve wracking. Once we got into the studio, we were given the opportunity to run over the piece in the space. This calmed my nerves as I was able to see the spacing and run over the movement. Then we went onto performing the piece for real. Due to my nerves being calmed I was able to fully perform the piece and I am incredibly pleased with the performance I did. I would not change anything that happened in the assessment as it all seemed to go well for me. I am excited to see the marks I get for the assessment.
